KR Is a woman-owned, service-based, small business which was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia on 9 July 1990. KR Chief Executive Officer is Gail A. Kelley
krsystems@krsystems.com. The President is David B. Kelley
dkelley@krsystems.com. Since its inception KR has focused on team-oriented operations and company expansion based on a foundation of established commercial and government requirements, the acquisition of high quality professional/technical/administrative personnel, and cost control. KR has experienced a slow, but steady, rate of growth in an environment of dwindling resources, and allowed it to provide clients with the highest quality services possible, at the best price available, and with no turnover of key personnel. KR's ability to keep employees satisfied/happy is seen in the retention of staff.
KR was created to provide technical research, management, analysis, and evaluation support and related services to government, military, private industry and other commercial interests whose success of operations is determined by the development and introduction of logistically supportable systems, equipment and/or procedures to meet valid user requirements.
The KR Team comprises two basic elements: (1) Program Management and Planning, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Training, Logistics/Supply, Life Sciences and Technical level personnel dedicated to providing the highest quality acquisition and logistics support service available to government and commercial agencies; and (2) extremely knowledgeable , experienced and highly motivated administrative personnel who conduct corporate operations and provide administrative support to the professional and technical staff.
The efficiency and effectiveness with which administrative personnel perform their functions directly impacts the ability of KR's professional/technical staff to successfully perform their duties. The result of effectively applying this principle is an administratively unburdened professional/technical staff with significant latitude and flexibility with which to perform their jobs. KR uses a systems approach based on identified need(s) to support our clients in the development of products whose designs maximize operability and maintainability, the effectiveness of which is based upon balanced support of design, documentation and training.
KR's Corporate Office is in Lovettsville, Virginia with outlying offices in: Harpers Ferry, WVA, Lexington Park, MD, Philadlephia, PA, and in Virginia Beach, VA.
