Jeff Hobrath, of KR Systems, wins St. Mary's County Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) 2005 Tech Handbook Cover Competition
Once again KR Systems proves we have the creative edge in graphic design.

Creative Director and Senior Graphic Artist, Jeff Hobrath, was chosen among 17 of the top artists in southern Maryland as the winner for his design of the St. Mary's County 2005 Tech Handbook cover.

The front cover depicts an eagle, with the Maryland state flag embedded in the feathers. In the eagles talons is a banner with the words "The Technology Corridor to Your Future". Faintly in the background is a picture of RT 235 along with a silohuette of a jet fighter.

On the back cover is a faint picture of the "Dove" sailing ship (harboured in St. Mary's City, MD), RT 235, and the words "Forging our Future, Preserving the Past."

The Cover was unveiled at The Patuxent Partnership Ninth Annual Dinner at the J. T. Daugherty Conference Center in Lexington Park, Maryland, October 20, 2004.

Dave Kelley, President KR Systems, joined Jeff on the podium to receive the award. At Jeff's request, the prize money was donated to Manny's Caring Hands charity.
